The Role
As a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping to create engaging learning opportunities that inspire curiosity, independence and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support high-quality teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom.
- Deliver engaging interventions and learning activities under the direction of the class teacher.
- Support pupils with varying needs to access learning effectively.
- Assist with observing, monitoring and recording pupil progress.
- Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with young children.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
