Some students need more than just a teacher — they need someone who understands, supports and believes in them. We are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with secondary school students (Key Stages 3 & 4) who may have SEN, SEMH needs, or behavioural challenges. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where your ability to stay calm, build trust and provide consistent support can have a lasting impact. You’ll play a vital role in helping students regulate their emotions, re-engage with learning and succeed in school.

Your Responsibilities

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to students
  • Supporting pupils to manage emotions and behaviour effectively

  • Encouraging engagement in lessons and school activities
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff and pastoral teams
