Teaching Personnel are working with a busy and welcoming primary school who are looking to appoint a dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join their KS2 team from October 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to helping every pupil excel in their learning.
The successful candidate will take on full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation and marking, and will play an important role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- Hold QTS and be eligible to teach in the UK
- Have previous teaching experience, ideally within KS2, although this is not essential for the right candidate
- Be confident working in a busy and fast-paced school environment
- Have a positive and proactive approach to behaviour management, both inside and outside the classroom
- Be committed to maintaining high expectations and supporting pupils to make excellent progress
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Be passionate about ensuring every child has the opportunity to excel in their learning
- Work effectively as part of a wider school team
The Role:
You will be responsible for a Year 4 class and will undertake full teaching responsibilities, including:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons
- Marking and assessing pupils' work
- Maintaining positive behaviour and high expectations
- Supporting the academic, social and emotional development of all pupils
- Creating a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment
- Working closely with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
