Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school located just outside Salisbury city centre, who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time, one-year fixed-term contract. The school offers a supportive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin or further develop their teaching career within Key Stage 2.
The Role
- Full-time KS2 classroom teacher.
- Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to support pupil progress.
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and ensuring all learners can access the curriculum.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is due to achieve QTS before September 2026. ECTs are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2 is desirable.
- Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Requirements
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service is desirable. Candidates who do not currently hold one can apply for a new DBS through Teaching Personnel, which must then be registered on the Update Service.
- Successful completion of all safeguarding, vetting, and compliance checks.
- Right to Work checks and all relevant recruitment checks will be carried out by Teaching Personnel in line with safeguarding requirements.
