We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive school in Salisbury to recruit a dedicated Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position starting in September 2026. This role also offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to work with a small group of secondary students (typically 3–5 pupils) who benefit from a calm, low-stimulation learning environment due to anxiety and emotional needs. Teaching takes place in a separate, purpose-designed building with just two classrooms, allowing for a highly focused and supportive approach.

The Role:

  • Teach and support a small group of secondary-aged students
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons, adapting content to meet individual needs as required
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
  • Work closely with a dedicated Teaching Assistant at all times
  • Support students’ emotional wellbeing alongside academic progress
