The Role
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils throughout their Key Stage 2 journey, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, progress, and attainment
- Work closely with colleagues to share resources, ideas, and effective teaching strategies
- Contribute to the wider school community and engage in professional development opportunities
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum
- Be skilled at adapting lessons to support a range of learning abilities
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be a collaborative and proactive member of staff
- Be confident incorporating technology into teaching and learning
