Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a full-time Religious Education teacher to begin in February 2026 for the full academic year at our client secondary school based in Salford.

Full-time Religious Education Teacher required from February 2026. Pay in line with Teacher Pay Scale M1-UPS3. Must hold Qualified Teacher Status and a PGCE specialising in secondary Religious Education.

Our client secondary school are looking to appoint a Religious Education Teacher to deliver the curriculum to students aged 11-16 at GCSE level. You will be an enthusiastic teacher with excellent knowledge of the Religious Education Curriculum. With a track record of excellent classroom practice, you will contribute to raising attainment levels within the humanities department.

Role responsibilities:

  • Monitor student progress and set high expectations to motivate learners.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Engage in the full planning and marking cycle.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding and child protection policies.

This school is located in Salford which makes it easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Bolton and Central Manchester.
