We are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to support a range of primary schools across the Raunds and Rushden areas. This is a full-time role, working five days a week, providing classroom support across Early Years, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and eager to support children in their learning and development within a welcoming and supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support learning
- Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation
- Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Provide additional support to pupils who may need extra help
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting is desirable
- A positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
- Must be able to travel to schools in Raunds and Rushden
