We have immediate opportunities for day-to-day supply work within a range of welcoming mainstream primary schools in Rugeley, Staffordshire. These roles are available on both a full-time and part-time basis, depending on your availability and flexibility. We also offer long-term opportunities with the potential to progress into permanent positions.
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons and creating a positive learning environment where pupils can thrive. Opportunities are available across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), depending on your experience and preference. You will plan and deliver lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum, assess pupil progress, and work collaboratively with school staff to support excellent educational outcomes.
As a Primary Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum
- Managing classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Assessing, monitoring, and adapting teaching to support pupil progress
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders
- Creating a structured, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Promoting positive learning experiences and encouraging pupils to achieve their full potential
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within UK mainstream primary schools (KS1 and/or KS2)
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Have excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Are proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about teaching
- Work effectively as part of a team while also being confident working independently
- Are committed to delivering high-quality education and supporting pupil achievement
