Year 3 Class Teacher - Full Time

Contract: Full-time, 1-year contract
Salary: From £140 per day, increasing to AWR rate after 12 working weeks
A welcoming 1.5-form entry primary school in Horwich is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Year 3 Class Teacher from January 2027.
The school would ideally like to appoint a fully qualified teacher, although they are also open to considering ECTs with strong experience or a particular interest in teaching Year 3.
The Role
- Full-time Year 3 class teacher
- January 2027 start
- One-year contract
- Teaching and planning for a Year 3 class
- Working as part of a supportive and collaborative school team
- Creating an engaging, inclusive and positive learning environment
- Supporting the academic and personal development of all pupils
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS or be an ECT working towards qualification
- Have experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 3
- Be confident with planning, teaching and assessment
- Have high expectations of pupil progress and behaviour
- Be enthusiastic, organised and committed to creating a positive classroom environment
- Work well as part of a team
ECTs with relevant Year 3 experience are encouraged to apply.
