Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time | October Start
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming 2-form entry primary school from October until the end of the academic year.

The Role
- Full-time Year 1 class teacher.
- Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the Year 1 curriculum.
- Delivering high-quality phonics sessions. The school follows Read Write Inc., however, experience with any recognised phonics programme is welcomed.
- Creating a positive learning environment with high expectations for both achievement and behaviour.
- Implementing strong and consistent behaviour management strategies to ensure pupils thrive.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1.
- Confident planning and delivering lessons independently.
- Experience teaching phonics (Read Write Inc. experience is desirable but not essential).
- Committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour.
- A positive team player who is eager to contribute to school life.
