Are you passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
We are currently recruiting Behaviour Support Workers / Behaviour Intervention Assistants to work within specialist SEMH settings across Bolton.
Must be a driver with access to a vehicle.
The role:
- Supporting young people with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Providing positive, consistent behaviour support
- Helping pupils develop emotional regulation and coping strategies
- Managing challenging behaviour calmly and professionally
- Building positive and trusting relationships with young people
- Supporting pupils to engage with learning and daily activities
- Working alongside teachers, pastoral staff and SEN professionals
- Helping maintain a safe, structured and supportive environment
We're looking for people who:
- Have experience working with children or young people
- Have experience in SEMH, SEN, behaviour support, youth work, care or similar
- Are calm, patient, resilient and consistent
- Can build positive relationships while maintaining clear boundaries
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
