A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the BB4 area of Lancashire is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of ICT to join their successful department from November 2026. This is a full-time temporary position running until July 2027, with the opportunity to make a real impact on students' learning and achievement.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging ICT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their digital literacy, computational thinking, and practical technology skills. The successful candidate will join a supportive department committed to high standards of teaching and learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Have experience teaching ICT and/or Computing within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
  • Be committed to raising achievement and supporting student progress.
  • Be an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Have a passion for technology and innovative teaching practices.
