We are currently seeking a creative, enthusiastic and dedicated Graphic Design Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Rochdale. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to take on full teaching responsibilities within a supportive and well-established department. The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging and innovative Graphic Design lessons, helping them to develop both creative and technical skills.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality Graphic Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the curriculum
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback
- Contribute to the wider success of the Art & Design department
- Full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking and parents’ evenings
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Graphic Design or Art & Design within a secondary setting
- Be confident teaching Adobe Creative Suite and digital design skills
- Have strong classroom management and communication skills
- Be passionate about inspiring creativity and student achievement
