We are currently seeking a creative, enthusiastic and dedicated Graphic Design Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Rochdale. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to take on full teaching responsibilities within a supportive and well-established department. The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging and innovative Graphic Design lessons, helping them to develop both creative and technical skills.

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality Graphic Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the curriculum
  • Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback
  • Contribute to the wider success of the Art & Design department
  • Full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking and parents’ evenings

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Graphic Design or Art & Design within a secondary setting
  • Be confident teaching Adobe Creative Suite and digital design skills
  • Have strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Be passionate about inspiring creativity and student achievement

This role would suit both experienced teachers and confident ECTs looking to develop their career within a supportive secondary school environment.
