Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded primary school in Fulwood, Preston from September.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a reputable and supportive school, helping pupils thrive academically and socially while working closely with an experienced Key Stage 2 teaching team.
Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning within a busy Year 4 classroom.
- Deliver targeted interventions in maths, English, and other curriculum areas.
- Support pupils in preparation for the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC).
- Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence.
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Recent Key Stage 2 classroom experience, ideally within Year 4.
- Confidence supporting pupils across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Good understanding of the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) and experience supporting children in developing fluency and confidence with their times tables.
- Experience delivering small group and one-to-one interventions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proactive, organized, and passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
