We are seeking a caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support children aged 5–11 with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working 8.45am to 4.45pm, Monday to Friday. You will be working in an exceptional specialist setting set within beautiful, peaceful grounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
  • Assist with learning activities, personal care and sensory programmes

  • Work closely with teachers, therapists and care staff

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months childcare experience, especially supporting children with SEN needs
  • Experience with PMLD or SLD is highly desirable
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the school’s location
