Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and engaging Religious Studies Teacher to work with one of our partner secondary schools in the Wolverhampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to join a supportive and forward-thinking humanities department, inspiring students to explore beliefs, ethics and philosophical thought.

The ideal candidate will foster curiosity, respect and critical thinking in the classroom, creating a safe and open environment where pupils can discuss diverse religious and cultural perspectives.

Role Responsibilites:

  • Deliver engaging RS lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Plan and assess learning in line with national curriculum objectives

  • Promote tolerance, understanding and ethical discussion in a respectful setting

  • Track student progress and provide appropriate support and feedback

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including assemblies or cross-curricular activities

  • Maintain a positive learning environment and manage behaviour in line with school policies

  • Support and promote safeguarding practices throughout all teaching and learning

Role Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Religious Studies in a UK secondary school

  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to connect RS to wider social, moral and cultural themes

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A commitment to inclusive education and student well-being

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
