Position Details

  • Full-Time | Permanent | Start: ASAP
  • Location: Redhill, Surrey
  • Hours: 40 hours a week. Start time 8:15, finish time 4:45pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 5pm Tuesday, 4pm Friday

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working across the Redhill area. This role is suitable for teachers with either Primary or Secondary experience who are passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs. The role will involve a curriculum focus on Careers and Workskills.

Responsibilities

You will be working closely with students who have complex needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
  • Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)

You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that support academic progress, communication, independence, and personal development. The role also involves close collaboration with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to ensure each pupil receives a holistic and inclusive education.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or are motivated to pursue teacher training
  • Have previous experience working within a SEN environment (desirable)
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive and differentiated teaching
  • Are patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting pupils with complex needs
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
