Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed Teacher of Science to work in secondary schools across Redcar on a full-time basis, starting from September. This role is ideal for a dedicated science specialist who thrives in varied classroom environments and is passionate about delivering engaging lessons that support student progress.
Responsibilities
- Teaching Science to mixed-ability classes across KS3 and KS4
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Creating a positive and purposeful learning environment
- Assessing progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
- Supporting students with additional needs, including SEN
- Working collaboratively with school staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
What we are looking for
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level
- Confidence delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
- The ability to adapt teaching to meet a variety of learning needs
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
