We are currently seeking a confident and dedicated Year 3/4 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Redcar. The Role
As a Year 3/4 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, supporting pupils' academic progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and consistently
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Supporting pupils with a range of learning and behavioural needs
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
- Working closely with senior leaders, teaching assistants, and external professionals where required
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have recent experience teaching within a UK primary school, ideally in Key Stage 2
- Have proven experience supporting and managing pupils with challenging behaviour
- Demonstrate confidence, resilience, and excellent classroom management skills
- Be committed to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
