We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Business Studies Teacher to join our educational institution in Reading, Berkshire. - Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective Business Studies lessons in accordance with the curriculum and examination board requirements.
- Develop teaching materials and resources that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.

- Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum development, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.

Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Studies, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related subject.
- Strong academic background in Business Studies or related discipline at degree level or higher.
- Evidence of continuous professional development relevant to secondary education and Business Studies.
- Proven experience teaching Business Studies at secondary or further education level.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Business Studies curriculum and current examination specifications.
- Strong subject knowledge in areas such as marketing, finance, business operations, and economics.
- Proficiency in utilising educational technology and digital resources to enhance learning.
- Further qualifications or training in education, such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent.
- Experience in delivering vocational Business qualifications or BTEC courses.
- Familiarity with strategies for supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time working hours, typically during standard school hours with occasional additional hours for meetings, preparation, and events.
- Engagement in activities outside of direct teaching, including professional development and departmental collaboration.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe and positive learning environment in line with school policies.
