Level 3 Early Years Practitioner in Reading

Full time, hours between 8am – 6pm. Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our supportive, enthusiastic teams in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality childcare and early education in a warm, nurturing environment where children can thrive.

About the Role

  • Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children, adhering to room ratios and policies.
  • Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, ensuring detailed, quality record keeping.
  • Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are always maintained, completing risk assessments, hazard logs and documentation as required.
  • Oversee the settling in of new children, liaising closely with caregivers and fellow staff members to ensure a smooth transition.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification – this is essential.
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Previous nursery or childcare experience - essential.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification.
