About the Role A welcoming and well-established secondary school in Brent is seeking a highly organised and professional Administrative Assistant to join its support staff team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administration skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced educational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring effective communication with staff, students, parents, and external visitors. Key Responsibilities Managing reception duties and welcoming visitors. Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally. Maintaining accurate student and staff records. Supporting attendance and admissions administration. Producing letters, reports, and school documentation. Assisting with diary management and meeting coordination. Processing safeguarding and confidential information appropriately. Providing general administrative support to senior leaders and teaching staff. Requirements Previous administration experience within a school or office environment. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently. Knowledge of SIMS, Arbor, or similar school systems is desirable. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
