The Role
Working alongside teachers, the SENCO and pastoral teams, you will:
- Support students on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
- Assist pupils with SEN, SEMH and additional learning needs.
- Provide behaviour support and positive interventions.
- Support students experiencing emotional or wellbeing challenges.
- Help improve engagement, attendance and confidence.
- Build strong and trusting relationships with students.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Promote inclusion and equal access to learning.
- Contribute to safeguarding and student wellbeing initiatives.
- Support the delivery of personalised learning plans.
What We're Looking For
We are keen to hear from Psychology graduates who possess:
- A degree in Psychology or a related subject.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience and resilience.
- An interest in behaviour, mental health and emotional wellbeing.
- A desire to pursue a career in education, SEN, psychology or pastoral support.
- Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
