Are you a Fully Qualified Teacher who is falling out of love with the classroom but still has a passion for teaching and supporting young people? Then you should consider 1:1 tutoring! We are requiring people just like you to make a huge impact on pupils' lives, who are unable to access full-time mainstream education.

I currently require a 1:1 Primary tutor in Bedlington to work with a Year 4. You will be required either Monday and Friday for an hour session on each day.

WHAT A 1:1 TUTOR ROLE ENTAILS:

  • Planning and preparing lessons and resources
  • Conducting assessments to see what level your pupil is working at
  • Building strong relationships with your pupil to help them want to engage in education
  • Follow EHCP/Educational plans that have been put in place
  • Complete online session reports at the end of each session

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU AS A TUTOR WITH US:

  • We are a national company so you will have access to an increased volume of tuition work. Once registered you will have a dedicated consultant who will explain how tuition works and how your journey will look with TP tutors.
  • Face-to-face and online tuition options available to suit your availability with tuition available during the school day or after school.
  • Referrals to support primary, secondary and post 16 aged students with subject-specific areas. Children may be in a mainstream setting, special educational needs or alternate provision setting or without a school place and fall under the local authority awaiting a suitable school place.
  • Bespoke online reporting platform- 24/7 access to enable you to log immediate attendance details, feedback and assessments.
  • Online classroom platform- to enable you to deliver online tuition to students in a virtual environment. This platform offers all the tools you will require to deliver online tuition and is recorded for safeguarding purposes and for revision purposes.
  • Hourly rate of £25-30 which is paid weekly
  • Access to free safeguarding and CPD courses as well as free access to assessment tools and resources.

WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR A TUTOR WORKING WITH TP:

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • QTS.
  • Two years minimum teaching experience
  • Have a DBS already on the Update Service or be willing to complete a new application.
  • All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
