Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a supportive primary school in Stockton-on-Tees, currently seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Teaching Assistant to become an integral part of their team as the new academic year begins.

Role: Full-time Primary Teaching Assistant

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Providing tailored support for pupils through small group work and one-to-one interventions
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional well-being in the classroom
  • Helping with classroom organisation, resource preparation, and day-to-day learning activities
  • Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting
  • Shows a genuine passion for helping pupils achieve their full potential
  • Communicates effectively and works well in a team
  • Has a good understanding of the primary curriculum (desirable but not essential)
