Supply Teaching Assistant – Primary School Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Pay: £85 – £100 per day Job Type: Flexible Working Start Date: March 2025 Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit Primary School Teaching Assistants seeking full-time, part-time, or flexible work for the remainder of the academic year. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for an adaptable, patient, and enthusiastic individual who can support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons. You will need to: Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who need extra help Assist with classroom management and behaviour support Help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment Work closely with teachers and school staff to support children’s development Key Requirements Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting (preferred but not essential) A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting young learners An Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) on the update service, or willingness to apply for one A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential) This role is perfect for experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Nursery Assistants, or anyone considering a career in education, including those looking to gain experience before pursuing teacher training.
