Lunchtime Welfare Assistant – Blackburn (Primary School)

Hours: 2 hours per day (Monday to Friday) 11.30am- 13.30pm
Location: Blackburn

We are looking for a caring and reliable Lunchtime Welfare Assistant to join our team at a welcoming primary school in Blackburn, starting September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising children during the lunchtime period, both in the dining hall and playground
- Encouraging safe and positive play
- Supporting children with their meals
- Promoting good behaviour and reporting any concerns to senior staff
Requirements:
- A kind and patient attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and can contribute to creating a safe, happy, and inclusive school environment. Full training will be provided.
