Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a highly regarded and inclusive primary school in Prestwich to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This full-time position involves providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them thrive academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support for pupils with SEN, both individually and in small group settings
- Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering differentiated learning activities
- Support the implementation and monitoring of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to support pupil progress
- Observe, record, and adapt support in response to pupils' individual needs
What We’re Looking For:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to learning support
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
- Level 2 Safeguarding certificate (or willingness to complete training)
