Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting young learners in a vibrant primary school? We are currently recruiting for a General Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 1 in a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in the PR3 area of Preston.

As a General TA, you will work alongside class teachers to support children’s learning, provide small-group interventions, and help create a positive, engaging classroom environment. This full-time role is due to start February 2026 and is ideal for someone who is proactive, energetic, and passionate about helping children succeed.

  • Experience supporting children in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
