Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:30pm

Pay: £13.75 per hour

Are you confident supporting older primary pupils in their learning journey? A supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Preston is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both the class teacher and pupils across a range of subjects:

  • Supporting pupils to develop independence, resilience, and confidence in their learning
  • Providing feedback to the class teacher to help inform planning and pupil progress
  • Supporting with preparation of resources and contributing to the wider life of the school (e.g. displays, school events, educational visits)

Experience supporting children in Key Stage 2 is highly desirable, though not essential. You must have prior experience working with or supporting children in a school, youth or care setting.

This is a long-term, full-time opportunity – ideal for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
