Pay: £130–£160 per day (inclusive of AWR following 12 weeks of service)
We are delighted to be recruiting a passionate and committed Reception Class Teacher with strong EYFS experience to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Preston, Lancashire. This is a full-time, term-time-only opportunity for a teacher who is enthusiastic about early years education and confident in delivering high-quality learning experiences, including Read Write Inc phonics.
The Role:
- Teaching a Reception class in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Delivering engaging, play-based learning and structured phonics sessions following Read Write Inc
- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Working closely with Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to maximise pupil progress
- Creating a nurturing, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching within EYFS, ideally in Reception
