We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths & English Tutor to support learners in the Preston (PR1) area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and helping students build confidence and improve their core skills in Maths and English.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging 1:1 or small group tutoring sessions in Maths and English
- Support learners in building confidence and improving academic performance
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Track progress and provide feedback to support development
- Encourage a positive and motivating learning environment
Qualifications
- Experience tutoring or teaching Maths and/or English
- Strong subject knowledge in GCSE-level content (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching style to different learners
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
