We are looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a lovely primary school near Garstang, supporting children across Nursery and Reception. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a warm and welcoming school environment that places a strong emphasis on early development and positive learning experiences.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • Contract: Term time only

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant or EYFS qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Confidence supporting early phonics and early language development
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting young children

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teaching and learning across Nursery and Reception
  • Assisting with the delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities
  • Supporting early phonics, communication, and language development
  • Working with small groups and on a one-to-one basis where required
  • Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
