Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting passionate and reliable Teaching Assistants to work in specialist SEN/SEMH schools across Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a specialist setting, allowing you to provide meaningful, individualised support. You will work alongside a Teacher and other Teaching Assistants in every class.

  • Support students with SEN and SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Help manage behaviour and support emotional regulation
  • Assist with learning activities tailored to individual needs
  • Build positive relationships and support student development

Previous experience working with children or young people (essential)

  • Experience in SEN and/or SEMH
  • Reliable, resilient, and confident in a classroom setting
  • A proactive and positive attitude
