We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Portsmouth, providing both general classroom support and 1:1 assistance within a Year 2 setting. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher with the delivery of learning activities
- Support pupils’ engagement, behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils as required
Person Specification
- Experience within KS1 is desirable
- A minimum of two years’ employment history
- A professional, patient and nurturing approach
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
