About the Role

We’re looking for a Software Support Specialist to join our team on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract, supporting the transition from our legacy system (SBS Budgets) to our new platform (SBS Financial Planner). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, working within a collaborative and forward‑thinking team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely migrations for our customers.

  • Complete system migrations accurately within agreed timelines
  • Undertake training to develop expertise in our migration processes and products
  • Perform quality assurance checks on data during and after migration
  • Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and system efficiencies
  • Escalate complex or high‑risk migrations to the Product Owner
  • Maintain and update internal systems and records
  • Support general administrative tasks

This is a full‑time role (37.5 hours per week) for a fixed term of 9 months.

About You

  • Experience in a customer service environment, ideally involving systems or data
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a flexible and resilient approach
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • A customer‑first mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident engaging at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • High levels of professionalism and attention to detail

Note: this role will involve 1–2 days per week working from our offices in Poole, Dorset.
