We are currently seeking caring, patient, and dedicated qualified and unqualified SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of SEN schools throughout Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil, and Caerphilly. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people while gaining valuable experience in specialist educational settings.

  • Support pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, physical disabilities, and complex learning needs
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual pupil needs
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and supportive learning environment
  • Adapt your approach to suit pupils’ communication styles, interests, and abilities
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
  • Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and staff
  • Experience within SEN settings is desirable but not essential

Teaching Personnel can support you in obtaining the following:

  • Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
