We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Secondary Classroom Manager to work in one of our welcoming Secondary Schools within the Pontypool & Newport area. In this role, you will supervise classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged with the work provided. Having subject expertise is beneficial, as it allows you to confidently cover topics you are passionate about. Lessons are pre-planned, so the ability to motivate and engage pupils is key. Key Responsibilities
- Supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4

- Providing feedback to teaching staff at the end of the day
Requirements
- Experience working with young people (education, youth work, coaching, etc.) or experience managing/leading groups
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- EWC Registration (or willingness to obtain one)
- Must be aged 18 or over
- Strong understanding of the school curriculum and core subjects
- A genuine interest in education and supporting young people
