Are you a passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher looking for flexible work or a new long-term opportunity in Plymouth? Teaching Personnel is working closely with secondary schools across the city and is seeking enthusiastic French, Spanish, and German teachers to join our supply and long-term teaching pool from January. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), or experienced MFL specialists who are committed to inspiring students and promoting a love of languages.

About the Role

  • Teach French, Spanish, and/or German across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with language departments and school staff

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it (ECTs welcome)
  • Strong subject knowledge in French, Spanish, and/or German
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners of varying abilities
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic
  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools is desirable but not essential
