SEN Teacher – Immediate Start Location: Ipswich Role: SEN Teacher Start: Immediate Age Range: 5–16 years Type: Full-time / Immediate opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher for an immediate-start position at a specialist school in Ipswich, supporting students aged 5–16 with complex Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). The school is looking for a committed and experienced teacher who can provide high-quality, differentiated teaching while creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for pupils with additional needs. About You Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential Previous SEN teaching experience is essential Experience working with pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) is highly desirable Confident supporting pupils with complex and additional needs Patient, adaptable and committed to inclusive education Strong classroom management and communication skills Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff Full driving licence is essential Available for an immediate start The Role Teaching students aged 5–16 with complex MLD and additional needs Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs Supporting pupils with their academic, social, emotional and personal development Working closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team Adapting teaching strategies and resources to meet a range of learning needs Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and contributing to individual education plans Creating a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and maintaining high expectations Fast-Track Application To be considered for a fast-track application, candidates should already hold an Enhanced DBS with Children’s Barred List check on the Update Service.
