Job Description
Teaching Personnel Role: Phonics Intervention Specialist Start: November 2025 Schedule: Full Time Location: Norris Green (L11) Pay Rate: 13.75 – 14.50 per hour (depending on experience) We are seeking a Phonics Intervention Specialist to deliver targeted support to children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 who need additional help with their phonics knowledge and early reading skills. This part-time, temporary role is ideal for a skilled teaching assistant, intervention teacher, or phonics-trained practitioner with experience delivering high-impact interventions. This primary school is a welcoming, community-focused setting that values inclusivity, kindness, and high standards for all pupils.
With a strong focus on early reading and language development, the school works hard to ensure that every child becomes a confident, fluent reader through tailored support and a strong phonics programme.
