About the Role
We are seeking motivated PGCE graduates ready to begin their teaching journey in secondary schools. We welcome applications from ALL subject specialisms, including core and foundation subjects. You will be supported as you begin your Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction, helping you grow into a confident and inspiring classroom teacher.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across KS3 KS4 (KS5 where applicable)
- Assess and track student progress
- Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policy
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
- Engage in whole-school activities, parents’ evenings, and pastoral duties
What We’re Looking For
- PGCE qualified (QTS achieved or pending)
- Strong subject knowledge in your specialist area
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passion for teaching and inspiring young people
