SEN Teaching Assistants Required

Location: BN24 - Pevensey

Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing opportunities

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of Primary Schools in and around the Pevensey area, and we are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join their supportive and welcoming teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing in a school environment that values inclusion and care.

The Role

  • Support pupils with SEN to access learning and the wider curriculum
  • Help with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
  • Promote independence, confidence, and self-esteem
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver support plans
  • Provide consistent support throughout the day, including breaks and enrichment activities

  • Experience working with children with additional needs, or a relevant qualification (desirable)
  • A calm, patient, and encouraging approach
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting emotional wellbeing
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
