This will not only boost your confidence but also show the interviewers that you're serious about providing quality education.
✨Tailor Your Approach
Since the role involves individualised learning plans, think about how you can adapt your teaching style to meet different needs. Prepare examples of how you've successfully tailored your approach in the past, especially for students with SEN. This will demonstrate your flexibility and commitment to helping each child progress at their own pace.
✨Showcase Your Experience
With at least two years of teaching experience required, be ready to discuss specific instances where you've made a positive impact. Highlight any relevant experiences with primary or secondary pupils, and don’t forget to mention any work with children in care or those awaiting school placements. This will help you stand out as a candidate who understands the unique challenges these students face.
✨Ask Insightful Questions
Interviews are a two-way street, so come prepared with questions that show your interest in the role and the company.
