We are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Science to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner to deliver high‑quality Science teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5. The role offers the opportunity to take on additional responsibility through a TLR for the right candidate. As a Teacher of Science, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons, supporting students to achieve strong outcomes while fostering curiosity and a love of Science. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to curriculum delivery and development, while promoting high expectations and a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality Science teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Plan engaging lessons that challenge and support all learners
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching accordingly
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
- Support curriculum development and share best practice

Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
