Nursery Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

About the Role
Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and nurturing Level 2 Nursery Teaching Assistants to work across a number of welcoming private day nurseries in the Peterborough area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young children's learning and development within a caring and stimulating early years environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing within the nursery setting.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages children to thrive.
- Work collaboratively with nursery staff, parents, and carers to support each child's development.
- Observe, monitor, and record children's progress and achievements.
Requirements
- A relevant Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children in their early stages of development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.
