Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a range of primary schools throughout BB8 and surrounding areas, including Colne, Trawden, Laneshaw Bridge, Foulridge, Brierfield, Nelson, Barrowford and neighbouring communities.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group intervention support.
- Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and additional learning requirements.
- Encourage positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children in schools, nurseries, childcare settings, sports coaching, youth work or similar roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
