Requirements
- Experience teaching in SEN schools.
- Coherent and in‑depth understanding of ALN and how to address it through independent learning plans.
- Ability to create engaging environments that encourage learning and self‑exploration.
- Remain calm under pressure and demonstrate high empathy during challenging situations.
- Lead by example and support fellow staff in behaviour and attitudes throughout the school.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
- Child and Adult Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Level 2 Safeguard training.
- Professional references covering the previous 24 months of employment, including a reference from a SEN school.
