Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in the Kettering area to recruit a dedicated and motivated Pastoral Officer (Assistant Head of Year/House) to join their pastoral team from September 2026. The Role

As a Pastoral Officer, you will play a key role in supporting students with behaviour, attendance and wellbeing, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. Working closely with a House Lead and wider pastoral team, you will support students in reflecting on their behaviour, facilitate successful reintegration into lessons, and build positive relationships that promote engagement and achievement.

The successful candidate will possess a strong presence, demonstrate consistency and fairness, and have the ability to engage with young people in a calm, supportive and positive manner.
